NUMEROUS EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
Chambord Castle • Equestrian show, themed guided tours, nature workshops in the park, this summer, the Palace of François I offers you many activities that will allow you to discover in a particularly unique way the history and life of this emblematic monument.
If you wish to visit it during the weekend of August 15th, be careful! Above all, prioritize online booking and remember to arrive before 10:30 am or after 15:30 pm.
Blois Castle • Just a few kilometers from Chambord, spend the evening of August 15th at the Château de Blois and witness an exceptional sound and light show that will recount the most famous episodes in the château's history. This truly impressive spectacle is a veritable festival of special effects that perfectly complement the architecture of the main courtyard of this vast royal château: a beautiful show that will enchant the whole family.
Chenonceau Castle Chenonceau Castle is pulling out all the stops to celebrate this special weekend. On Friday the 15th, Saturday the 16th, and Sunday the 17th of August, its illuminated gardens will be open to visitors from 21:30 pm to 23:30 pm. Accompanied by the music of great Italian Renaissance composers, you will have the opportunity to experience a timeless moment in the enchanting setting of the Château des Dames.
Valençay Castle • At the Prince of Talleyrand-Périgord's estate in Valençay, the party takes place on Saturday evening! On August 16, from 19 p.m. to midnight, the courtyard welcomes the Valençay AOC appellations during an evening hosted by winemakers and cheese producers.
Before that, we warmly invite you to discover this beautiful residence, which celebrates the French art of living. In its carefully furnished interiors, discover the life and work of one of the greatest diplomats in our history, and don't miss his beautiful hidden treasure in one of the outbuildings: the small theater.
Château de l'Islette • In Azay-le-Rideau, venture off the beaten path to discover the charming Château de l'Islette, the love hideaway of Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel. Every Friday during the summer, "Guinguette & Good Vibes" evenings are held there. On August 15th, join us in the gardens from 19 pm for a swing concert and a lindy-hop dance lesson!
Baugé Castle • Head to Anjou and the Château de Baugé, which is hosting the Archers Ligériens troupe all weekend, there to show you what life was like in a medieval encampment. Demonstrations of archery, wool working, candle lighting, all in period costumes for a truly immersive experience in the heart of history!
