The Chanteloup pagoda is above all, the testimony of the madness of the Duke of Choiseul, former prime minister to Louis XV. Exiled from Versailles by the king, he had this built on his lands in Amboise extraordinary monument of Chinese inspiration in homage to all her friends who had shown her their friendship. Once enthroned at the heart of an Anglo-Chinese garden covering nearly 4000 hectares, it is today one of the only remaining vestiges of a vast palace which was only equaled by Versailles. From standing 44 meters tallIt offers a 360° view of the town of Amboise and the Loire Valley on one side and of the deep Amboise forest on the other.

They consist of the essential products of our region, from Touraine rillettes to Saint-Maure-de-Touraine goat cheese and are accompanied by our selection of Touraine-Amboise (AOC) wines from the vineyards of Chanteloup (at an additional cost).
