October 17, 18 & 19: 7th Edition of the Night of the Castles!
This year, the Loire Valley castles association is honored to be a partner of the Night of the Castles, an event that has become a must-see! On Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October, in France and Europe, around a hundred castles will exceptionally open their doors for an extraordinary nighttime experience.
Organised by the D'Artagnans company, the Night of the Castles allows visitors to discover monuments by moonlight and offers them the experience of a magical night while raising awareness of the very important cause of heritage preservation.
Among the members of our association, eight have decided to play along and are participating in the party!
Castle of Beaugency In the Loiret region, the Château de Beaugency offers a unique experience from 20 pm to midnight! The program includes a tour and immersive experience through the 19 rooms of this newly transformed art center, monumental projections on the Renaissance façades, and the illumination of the garden for a magical stroll under the stars…
Prices: €14,50 per adult, €11 per young person (6-18 years), €7 per child (0-6 years)
Montpoupon Castle : In Indre-et-Loire, the Château de Montpoupon plunges you directly into the past, a century, in an immersive theatrical experience guaranteed to send shivers down your spine… Slamming doors, vanishing objects, disembodied laughter echoing through the corridors… the entire castle is in turmoil and determined to get to the bottom of this mystery. Ghost or prank, who is causing the walls and inhabitants of the castle to tremble? Various costumed characters will help you solve this mystery in this unique theatrical tour scheduled for October 17th and 18th.

Chateau Gaillard : In Amboise, the Château Gaillard comes alive for the night with an unusual theme: "The Blue Night like an Orange." Whether you visit on your own or with a guide, your steps will resonate in an enchanting soundscape, guided by bursts of poetry by candlelight… From every corner, every piece of furniture, every garden path, verses written by great poets from all eras on the theme of nature may emerge.
