Talcy Castle
While many castles are enjoying a well-deserved break, others are open all year round and allow visitors to continue their discovery of our heritage, even in winter!
Property of the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, Talcy Castle is open every day! In the heart of Loir-et-Cher, this amazing property was, in the 16th century, the property of the wealthy Florentine banker Bernard Salviati, father of the lovely Cassandre to whom Ronsard dedicated one of his most famous poems "Mignonne, allons voir si la rose…"
With its unique architecture, particularly charming gardens and an extremely refined 18th-century interior, the Château de Talcy is a site to discover during your long winter weekends.
